These August Morning Meeting Slides for 3rd Grade provide a simple, predictable routine that gets students talking, thinking, reviewing, and reflecting from the moment the day begins. Each daily slide includes four purposeful components—Chit Chat, Grammar Grab, Word Work, and Community—plus a Word of the Week to build vocabulary throughout the month.
Designed specifically with the beginning of 3rd grade in mind, the academic portions provide quick review and practice with foundational grammar and word study skills while the discussion prompts help students build confidence, strengthen speaking and listening skills, and develop a sense of belonging in the classroom.
